Wilson Kindred was born on November 19, 1954. He was saved at four years of age.

Even as a child, Wilson had a heart for evangelism and a burden for lost souls. In his home church, He was involved in music ministry with his siblings, and in children's ministry with his mother and his siblings. He bore a passionate and a burning desire to minister, which continues to this day.

In 1974, at nineteen years of age, Wilson was working in Iroquois Falls, Ontario as a paramedic. He applied for work with the Timmins ambulance service. His application was successful, and he moved to the city of Timmins, Ontario. On his first Thursday night in that city, he attended the ‘Timmins Pentecostal Church’ youth group. It was there that he saw an extremely pretty young lady, leading the service. On August 9, 1975 Sharon Rose Woodrow became Mrs. Sharon Kindred!

From 1973 to 1998, Wilson worked throughout the province of Ontario has a paramedic. He worked for land
ambulance services, and in the provincial air ambulance program. He worked on larger services, and smaller services.

Wilson managed ambulance services. He also taught the college paramedic program. One of the calls that he did by helicopter, while employed as a land ambulance paramedic, was written up in Readers Digest.

Occasionally, and sporadically Wilson, Sharon and their children traveled on weekends to minister in music and the Word of God throughout Ontario.

Wilson has now been traveling throughout Canada in full-time ministry for the past twelve years.

On the road, Wilson ministers in music, performing a one-person Southern Gospel Quartet. Woody (as Evan, Granny, and the children call him) ministers through ventriloquism, featuring his sidekick Evan Hardwood Kindling and Evan's grandmother (Granny). He preaches the Word of God, sharing, true-life stories from his troubled childhood, his twenty-five year career as a paramedic, and his personal life as an adult. Every story focuses on God’s unconditional love, God's grace, and God's forgiveness! He also performs amazing illusions while presenting the Gospel message.

“One of the things that I enjoy most about Ministry, is seeing people young and old receiving Jesus as their Savior”, Wilson says. He loves to pray with these people. He also loves the opportunities that he and Sharon have, to minister to people who come to their bus for help and prayer.

Wilson's favorite Scriptures:

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
