“A Living Way Ministries” is reaching out to the youth!
Wilson Kindred’s twenty-five year career as a paramedic is proving to be very useful in ministering to teenagers. He is bringing alive, the horrors and realities of "Drinking and Driving" in High-school assembly
halls as well as in youth church youth groups!
| “I do not and will not bore them with statistics! That’s about as effective as counting sheep!" |
Through very powerful Multi-media presentations ("Power Point etc.) the horrors and realities of drinking and
driving are brought to life!
| “I help the young people to weigh the cost! I verbally take them on a real life account of one of
the many ambulance calls that I have lived, in which four young lives were wasted!" |
Ms. Elizabeth Burrows (Teacher), who organized the assembly for the "Bruce Peninsula District School” said the
following:
| “The students commented on the impact that the assembly had on them; many swore never to
drink and drive, and some have sworn never to drink! One student told me right after that it
was the best assembly that our school had ever had, and that we should have more like it!”… Download Full Reference Letter |
One youth Pastor (Don Bakelar) and his committee said: "All eyes were straight ahead! You definitely got the message
across!" He also said the following:
| "The Kids were spell-bound! No matter what special ministry (music or otherwise) that we
bring in; No matter who we invite as a special speaker, the kids giggle, talk or otherwise act up
throughout the evening! But not tonight! Tonight was the first night that they didn't make a
sound! We were all totally captivated by your presentation! |
Those who attend also receive a handout to take with them! The “handout” is a very dramatic and descriptive
“word-picture” of the ambulance call that I share with them, verbally. The young people have been passing the handouts
on for others to read ! We have had young people ask for a second and third copy!
This “Powerful Youth Outreach” is presented in both a “practical -real life” format in high schools and /or from a
more“Spiritual” perspective in church youth groups!
THIS IS AN EVENT THAT YOU AND YOUR YOUNG PEOPLE WILL NEVER FORGET!
